As part of our ongoing development, we are currently looking for a highly organised and responsible Operational Accountant. The position requires excellent communication skills and a case-solving attitude. Location: Sofia, street: Panorama Sofia 6, Business center Richhill

Responsibilities

  • Implements, organizes, controls and responsible for the financial and accounting activities of the company.
  • Performs activities related to the processing of financial and accounting documents - registration of accounting operations, creation of registers for summarizing accounting information.
  • Checks the correct reporting of the accounting articles on the relevant accounts, analyzes and proposes to improve the accounting operations.
  • Maintains accounting records to summarize accounting information.
  • Preserves accounting information in the manner prescribed by law.
  • Plans and organizes his/her activities in accordance with the deadlines that are statutory or set by the line manager.
  • Accurately documents, sorts, classifies and archives documents related to the business operations and processes performed in the company.
  • Applies the rules for closing revenue and expense accounts at the end of an accounting period.
  • Supports and meets the requirements of the company's customers by supporting the department's operations.
  • Actively participates in the implementation of the collection process, contacting customers and providing them with the necessary information.

Requirements

  • University Degree (or in the process of studying) in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP ideally) would be considered an advantage
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word;
  • Very good analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills - both spoken and written
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Previous experience in a similar position - will be considered an advantage
