We're seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for configuring, modifying, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of networks and network hardware. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be a team player. Location: Sofia, street: Panorama Sofia 6, Business center Richhill.
Responsibilities
- MikroTik routers and switches: configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Service activations based on best practices.
- Monitor, support and maintain the network infrastructure.
- Researching, testing, planning and implementing new technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- 1+ year experience in Network Engineering.
- Experience with unassisted configuration and deployment of network components.
- Investigating faults and performance issues in the network infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN technologies, firewall, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with LAN/MAN/WAN networks.
- Experience with Layer2 and Layer3 network devices.
- Knowledge and experience with MikroTik routers and switches.
- Working experience with UNIX or Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) operating systems.
- Team player with good coordination and communication skills.
- English – working level.
- Knowledge and experience with BASH/SHELL/PYTHON would be considered as an advantage.
- MTCA/MTCRE/MTCINE would be considered as an advantage.
- Advanced Linux: routing, switching, firewalls and logging would be considered as an advantage.
- Keeping excellent documentation of the completed tasks.
